Carver

A homeowner sued the Carver Conservation Commission and PineGate Renewables for the use of arsenic treated timber poles in a dual use solar project.

Northfield

BlueWave solar is beginning an industrial solar project planned for 126 acres of prime farmland and an important Indigenous site.

Wareham

Tihonet Rd: AD Makepeace proposes to strip another 54 acres of Pine Barrens forest for industrial solar and battery storage.  If this and all related projects go through, Wareham will lose 230 acres of forest to solar development.

Fearing Hill: Solar developer ConEdison proposes to clear-cut Pine Barrens forest and denude land for large ground mounted solar, batteries. The site is located on Weweantic River, and ancient Indigenous trails will be lost if the project goes through.

Shutesbury

Shutesbury has been fighting to preserve hundreds of acres of forest from deforestation for corporate solar development since 2022.

Wendell

Wendell passed a battery storage bylaw in the hope of stopping New Leaf Energy's proposed battery storage facility.

Wilbraham

PureSky has cut 17 acres of forest for industrial solar in Wilbraham.

Williamsburg

A 17 acre Dynamic industrial solar project in Williamsburg has caused $1.4 million in environmental damage.
